Intravenous Nutritional Therapies

Glutathione

Glutathione is a natural substance that is present in all human cellular tissue. It is an antioxidant that protects our cells. When human cells become depleted of Glutathione, cell death results. Glutathione aids in DNA repair and is especially protective of different types of cells in the human body; including the skin, lens, retina, brain, and gastrointestinal tract.

The dramatic benefits of Glutathione therapy for neurologic diseases, especially Parkinson’s disease, was popularized by Dr. David Perlmutter; a neurologist in Naples, Florida. See For Yourself

Uses of Glutathione

PARKINSON’S DISEASE
AGING
HIV & AIDS

ASTHMA
EMPHYSEMA
ULCER
GASTRITIS

CROHN’S DISEASE

Myers Cocktail

Myers Cocktail

Myers’ Cocktail is an intravenous formula of vitamins and minerals developed by Dr. John Myers, MD. It was popularized by a well-regarded nutritional medicine doctor, Alan R. Gaby, M.D..

The ingredients in Myers’ Cocktail include: Magnesium, Calcium, B-Vitamins, and Vitamin C. The formula is administered by slow intravenous push or slow infusion. This method is preferred over ingestion of the same nutrients via diet due to convenience and quicker absorption.

Myers’ Cocktail Relieves:

FATIGUE
ASTHMA ATTACKS
CHRONIC SINUSITIS

COLDS
DEPRESSION
MIGRAINE HEADACHE

FIBROMYALGIA
ANXIETY
DRUG WITHDRAWALS

Chelation Therapy

Chelation Therapy

Chelation Therapy is a treatment used for metal poisoning or toxicity caused by lead, mercury, plutonium, arsenic, and/or uranium. In some cases, it is used to treat thalassemia with iron overload and various other toxic metal exposures. In the clinic, chelating agents can be administered orally, intramuscularly, topically, and intravenously.

Biopuncture

Biopuncture is a therapy that uses homeopathy and homotoxicology medications which are FDA approved for injection into inflamed tissues and used for various medical problems including:

HEADACHES
TENNIS ELBOW

JOINT SPRAINS
BURSITIS

MUSCLE STRAINS
SPORTS INJURIES

It is effective, simple, and safe. Most patients get immediate relief from these treatments with little or no side effects.

The Biopuncture injection technique to specific parts of the body with biologically active substances cause beneficial physiological effect locally, and at times, in distant regions of the patient’s body. The injections are given in very shallow layers of the skin or subcutaneously. Even though their effects are often fast, they are also long-lasting.

Trigger Point Injection Therapy

Trigger Point Injection Therapy

Trigger points are tight areas within muscle tissues that cause pain in other parts of the body. For example, a trigger point in the back may produce pain in the neck. The neck would then act as a satellite trigger point which could cause headaches. The quality of the pain that is felt may be sharp, burning, intense, or a dull ache.

Injections at the trigger points are an effective treatment method for deactivating the taut muscle bundles or trigger points. This treatment provides immediate relief of the symptoms. Myofascial Pain Syndrome is a very common and painful muscle disorder that could last for a long period of time until it is appropriately relieved. The patients are often amazed at how quickly this treatment works to relieve their long-standing pain syndrome.

Trigger Point Therapy is effective for:

HEADACHE
NECK PAIN

TRIGGER FINGERS & THUMB
LOWER BACK PAIN
KNEE PAIN

SHOULDER PAIN
CHEST PAIN

Phosphatidylcholine

The cells that make up our body are encapsulated by a membrane. This membrane is composed of a double layer of phospholipids, the most abundant phospholipid being Phosphatidylcholine (PC). Phosphatidylcholine is the crucial phospholipid that is common in healthy, young cell membranes. As we age and/or develop illness this phospholipid gets replaced with less beneficial phospholipids and this lipid layer can trap and store many toxins. These toxins can negatively impact cell membrane and mitochondrial function (energy production). Phosphatidylcholine improves the cell membrane’s integrity and serves to improve the transport of nutrients and export toxins across the cell membrane. Since chronic illness is associated with poor cell membrane health, PC infusion will relieve:

ALZHEIMER’S
VASCULAR DISEASE
HIGH CHOLESTEROL

AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE
MOOD DISORDER
MEMORY LOSS

DEMENTIA
LIVER DISEASE
MIGRAINES

High Dose Vitamin C

High Dose Vitamin C

Background: In 1986 Linus Pauling first raised the possibility that high dose Vitamin C (Vit-C) can be used to treat cancer. The role of Vitamin C in collagen production led scientists to hypothesize that ascorbate replenishment would protect normal tissue from tumor invasiveness and metastasis (McCormick, 1959; Cameron, et al., 1979). Also, since cancer patients are often depleted of vitamin C (Hoffman, 1985; Riordan, et al., 2005), replenishment may improve immune system function and enhance patient health and well-being (Henson, et al., 1991). Cameron and Pauling observed fourfold survival times in terminal cancer patients treated with intravenous ascorbate infusions followed by oral supplementation (Cameron & Pauling, 1976). Laboratory studies have shown that high doses of vitamin C may slow the growth and spread of prostate, pancreatic, livercolon, and other types of cancer cells. When taken by intravenous infusion, vitamin C can reach much higher levels in the blood than when the same amount is taken by mouth.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

This is safe, natural, and non-invasive therapy- unlike surgical cosmetic procedures. The Mesotherapy is a process that delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the skin which nourishes, rejuvenates, and promotes production of collagen and elastin. It also stimulates metabolism. The mesotherapy can be used to rejuvenate the skin and tighten skin over the abdomen, neck, thighs, love handles, arms, legs, and to improve the youthfulness of the face.

Allergy Therapy

Allergy Therapy

An allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) test measures the levels of different IgE antibodies. Antibodies are made by the immune system to protect the body from bacteria, viruses, and allergens. An allergen-specific IgE test may be done to look for some kinds of allergies. These include types of food, animal dander, pollen, mold, or medicine. The patients who have IgE allergic reaction to specific allergens or substances can be desensitized with very dilute concentration of the same substances. This therapy often takes some time and gradually leads to neutralization of the body’s reactions to the allergens or substances. In time, 86% of patients will stop reacting to the substances permanently.

Food Sensitivities

Food sensitivity or food intolerance occurs when a person has difficulty digesting a particular food. This can lead to symptoms such as intestinal gas, abdominal pain, or diarrhea. Food sensitivity or food intolerance is often confused with food allergy. Allergies to foods involve the immune system and even a tiny amount of the food can lead to a life-threatening reaction called anaphylaxis.

Food sensitivity can present problems related to the skin, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract (GIT) -in combination or individually. Skin symptoms may include skin rashes, hives, and eczema. Lung symptoms may include congestion of the sinuses, nose-throat irritations, asthma, bronchitis, and cough. The bowel symptoms could include mouth ulcers, abdominal cramps, nausea, gas, and occasional loose stools (with or without constipation). Some individuals may even have the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Sublingual Therapy

Sublingual immunotherapy consists of putting drops or tablets of substances with allergenic activities as extracts under the tongue of patients who are allergic to these materials and then swallowing the extracts. It permits the patient to become non-reactive to the allergens. The allergens are absorbed through the oral and stomach linings.

Immunotherapy Injection

Injectable immunotherapy is a medical treatment of allergic patients suffering from severe respiratory allergies that are not well controlled by symptomatic treatments like anti-histamines, corticosteroids, etc. The purpose of this therapy is to desensitized or re-educate the patient’s immune system by giving increasing doses of the substances the patient is reacting to using a well defined protocol. This creates long-term tolerance to the allergens or substances that are being injected.

Age Management (ANTI-AGING)

This type of medicine is proactively instituted as a preventative measure in delivering healthcare to the aging population- with an emphasis on the preservation of optimum function and quality of life.

Aging is inevitable, but the goal of Age Management is to allow patients to age gracefully and gregariously- with little or no degenerative diseases!

Major efforts are directed toward modulating the aging process before the degenerative changes of the aging process set in. With FMWC’s Age Management Therapy, the patient undergoes thorough medical history inquiries, lifestyle assessment, physical examination, and laboratory testing to create a proactive treatment plan. This treatment plan is comprised of appropriate diet programs, exercise, stress management, and proper medical corrective measures.

Chronic Diseases

Many chronic diseases are associated with food sensitivities. Food sensitivities are transient, lasting between 4 to 12 weeks, after which the reaction may resolve completely. Some patients have found that their chronic diseases resolved after a rotation diet to avoid offending foods over a period of time, between 4 to 12 weeks. Diseases that may respond to a food sensitivity study and rotation diet include:

IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME
CHRONIC FATIGUE
ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER

MEMORY IMPAIRMENT
SKIN RASHES
MIGRAINES

ARTHRITIC JOINTS
BLOATING
PREMENSTRUAL SYMPTOMS
BRAIN FOG

Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy

Overtime aging diminishes the functions of various glands in the body. As their functions diminish, the quality of a person’s life begins to wane also. From sleep function to sexual wellness, the human body can be restored to optimum performance using bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. When restored to its physiological levels, the use of bio-identical hormone is both safe and life promoting. At times, it could be said to reduce the appearance of degenerative diseases that would otherwise plague the process of aging in both men and women.
